My mourning routine is I wake up at approxitmently 7:09 and get in the shower and get out around 7:30 and put my clothes on because that is very important. CST testing was very very boring. It was cool that we got to have breakfast in the class rooms and that we didn’t have to go to all our classes but that’s about it. There was like eighty questions on each test. Some of it easy the really easy parts were in beginning of the test then towards the end they were hard. We only tested on English and math which was better than testing on history and science on top of that so I’m grateful we didn’t have to do that.

I am choosing to write about the NFL lockout. I really hope this lockout ends soon because a whole year with out football I don’t know of I can handle that. Because I could barley handle when the football season ends. Also not only is the lockout bad for the players but it is also bad for the people like the ball boys and the people who help with the teams and with out football they also don’t have a job and there not getting paid that much as it is. So I hope it ends soon.

Most NFL players aren’t very successful after the NFL. Because they usually spend all there money on useless things. Like cars there not useless but they don’t have to over do it with like 10 cars. Or buy a 20 million dollar house and a whole bunch of other things. It is important to know this information because if you ever be successful with that kind of money it is really important to save your money because if you go buying all sorts of things you won’t have it when you really need it.

I also think it is ridiculous because I don’t think that we should have to take all those tests and there is so many questions and it’s just a lot. My fourth quarter goals are to help my relationship with my teachers get my grades up so I can play football. Also my another goal is not only to do good in Ms. Priester‘s class but also in all my other classes. Besides my academics I want to improve physically and better my last abilities. The assembly was ok. We were just sitting for awhile so it got a little boring but it was cool to see the awards being passed out. One thing that is really cool is that if you get a 4.00 you get a hundred dollars from both Tia and Alex. It was funny when Johnny went to go get his award he’s been here for a while he deserves one. Also it was cool when they called everybody with a 3.00 I think they get like seventy five dollars. Next time I hope to get an award.

What I Already Know


My focus question is “Are NFL players successful after they leave the NFL? I already know that the average NFL career is three years and that a lot of players after they leave the NFL aren’t very successful. They have signs of depression and many turn into drug addicts and or alcoholics. I also know that many college players who leave school early to enter the NFL after the NFL aren’t successful because lack of education. Additionally and most important for those who actually have a career In the NFL they have no retirement plans or benefits. By doing research I hope to learn that I have to get an education and to learn from there mistakes.

My day for the fun day was alright I didn’t see what we did in the begging because I woke up late I came at 12:00 so when I came they were playing wiffle ball it was pretty fun but we lost then after that we went to the gym and played capture the flag and we lost then we went out to the football field and played like some little games that showed if we could like work as a team but we lost. We lost EVERY game
